When approached to tender for the refurbishment of the iconic Princess Fountain in torquay we where keen to get involved. This work involved the extremely delicate task of dismantling the fountain piece by piece and numbering it as we went, all components were then refurbished with even the integral plumbing of the dolphins and cherubs given a revamp. Foundations had to removed and reinstalled with new 15m deep piles being installed and all concrete and masonry replaced along with new electrics and data cabling to control the illuminations. New drainage was added with a new soakaway introduced to the area and improved drainage to the surrounding paths.
