About This Project

This project involved the conversion of an existing community hub into a school for MTS who were moving and consolidating from a couple of different sites within the bay. The project involved extensive internal alterations from the demolition of walls and the construction of new partitions to the complete installation of a new science lab and prep room, art room, ICT suite, secure area exam store and various other items. The wiring within the building was significantly changed, air conditioning and heating introduced to various new areas along with new toilet facilities for the sports hall. The outside was also drastically changed by the demolition of the old Torbay Council beach teams yard and the installation of a new secure outdoor space for the students with an intercom and camera access control system. All of this work was completed ready for the start of the Autumn term.
